Robert Scoble charity auction - ipod shuffle and more!

Robert Scoble, prominent technology blogger and author of the popular book Naked Conversations - How Blogs are Changing the Way Businesses Talk With Customers, posted a listing yesterday on eBay for an ipod shuffle and three of his favorite hats from Google, Windows Vista and Firefox. It's only been a day and there are already 9 bids. And all the proceeds will be donated to Diabetes Research. Check it out and if you're in the market for an ipod shuffle or a fan of Robert, bid!

I hate to point this out, but that listing will undoubtedly get taken down by eBay for violating their policy concerning charitable auctions:

Happens all the time.

They also do not allow outside links.

A noble cause to be sure, but it's certain to get caught in the big machine.
